Dominique Blanquet

Dominique Blanquet has a scientific educational background and extensive experience across various sectors. Originally from Belgium, he graduated from UCLouvain with an MBA in 1994, following earlier studies in Agricultural Engineering with a specialization in Water & Forestry.

 In 1994, Dominique embarked on a new chapter by joining the Comet program, a training initiative for recent graduates in companies utilizing cutting-edge technologies. Passionate of nature and environment, this led him to Ålesund, Norway, to work with water treatment processes applied to land-based fish farming, and later Portugal and Spain. After six years in this field, he started at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, engaging in fostering innovation and supporting startups in the field of aquaculture. From 2001, in pursuit of an entrepreneurial mindset and following his other passion for food, Dominique ran his own business in the HORECA sector for 11 years.

 Since the end of 2012, Dominique has been an integral part of the team at AWEX, proudly representing the Walloon Region in Norway, promoting economic development and collaboration between the two countries.
