Spanish National Police. Synergies between Innovation and Internal Security Fund
Proposal of financing innovative solutions to develop a forensic intelligence system for the Spanish National Police through a CDTI funding line
The Center for Technological Development and Innovation E.P.E. (hereinafter CDTI), a public business entity attached to the Ministry of Science and Innovation, has launched an initiative to promote the innovative public procurement in the form of pre-commercial innovative contracting.
This action will be carried out by the CDTI in collaboration with the Spanish National Police, in such a way that both parties will jointly develop a pre-commercial procurement process for R&D services, in order to solve Forensic Police needs that cannot be satisfied through solutions already existing in the market.
Next steps for Forensic Intelligence Action (CDTI initiative)
Although the Preliminary Market Consultation deadline was the 8th of November, this consultation is a non-binding process, National Police has conducted an additional technology watch period.
All the annexes and the entire process are described in the "Call for proposals document" you may download at the bottom of this page. The proposals that best supply the call will be selected by the end after a competitive process.
Already published in this platform the results of the Preliminary Market Consultation, of the CDTI ( also available at (contrataciondelestado.es)) and of the Technological Watch Phase developed by General Headquarters For Forensic Police (GHFP) where you will be able to observe relevant conclusions, of interest for the proposal prior to the bidding phase.
Support will be provided by the Spanish National Forensic Police until the tender document is officially published by CDTI.
