Social Impact Credit (SIC)
About
The Social Impact Credit (SIC) is an innovative “on-hold service” system designed to empower NGOs, social enterprises, communities, and individuals striving to create social and environmental change. By providing access to essential services—such as space, technical support, and expertise—SIC enables those with limited financial resources to maximize their impact.
More than just a support program, SIC is a sustainable funding model that strengthens the impact ecosystem and fosters solidarity. Initially launched at Postane, it is designed to be adopted by other stakeholders, expanding its reach over time.
How SIC Works
Resource Provision
- Postane provides program participants with access to physical spaces, technical equipment, and expert support.
- SIC supporters contribute financial resources at predefined levels, ensuring the program’s sustainability.
Application Process
- Beneficiaries apply by completing an online form. Applications are evaluated based on transparency and fairness principles to ensure equitable access.
Service Provision
- Approved beneficiaries receive free services up to an annual limit of 1,500 SIC. Services are customized to meet the specific needs of each beneficiary.
Impact Assessment
