Stabilplastik, founded in 1999 near Prague, Czech Republic, specializes in the material recycling of mixed plastic waste. The company’s flagship product is the plastic transport pallet, which received the prestigious Packaging of the Year 2021 award. These pallets are primarily used in logistics, helping companies transition to a circular economy while also reducing their carbon footprint. Our sole input is mixed plastic waste, over 90% of which comes from municipal waste collected in yellow containers. Using a zero-waste technology, we transform this waste into durable products that are significantly more resistant than substitutes made from primary materials. We collect damaged or destroyed products from our clients free of charge and reuse them 100% as input for the production of new products. Thanks to our collaboration with GoPall, we also offer pallet pooling (flexible pallet rental), which requires easily maintainable, low-maintenance, and highly durable pallets—features that our pallets fully meet. Compared to wooden pallets, our plastic pallets have at least 60 times lower carbon emissions and, according to LCA certification, up to 77% less environmental impact. Annually, we process millions of kilograms of plastic waste that would otherwise go to incinerators and landfills and preserve tens of thousands of trees that would otherwise be used to produce wooden pallets. For production, we utilize our own solar power plant and a root wastewater treatment system.
