About me

Charles Churchman is a seasoned entrepreneur with a deep-rooted passion for design and innovation. His journey began in the UK, where he honed his skills as a product designer. At the age of 21, he launched his first venture, delving into the world of high-end furniture design.

Driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact, Churchman transitioned his focus to medical furniture. Recognising the critical need for improved hygiene in healthcare settings, he founded Veraco, a company dedicated to developing antimicrobial surfaces. Veraco's innovative solutions aimed to reduce cross-contamination in oncology wards and minimize staff sickness.

Building upon this success, Churchman recently established Hyge, a brand at the forefront of developing eco-friendly healthcare solutions. Hyge embodies Churchman's commitment to both sustainability and patient well-being, reflecting a visionary approach to healthcare design.
