Heiko Witte brings extensive professional and leadership experience in the aerospace sector, specializing in project management, business transformation, innovation, continuous improvement, and digitalization.
Since May 2023, Heiko Witte has served as the Managing Director of CHESCO GmbH (Center for Hybrid Electric Systems Cottbus). In this role, he oversees the development of innovative solutions for hybrid-electric propulsion systems, driving forward the center's mission to accelerate technological advancements and promote sustainable mobility. He is responsible for fostering collaborations with industry and academic partners, as well as positioning CHESCO as a leading research and technology hub in Europe.
Between 1997 to 2023, Witte worked with Rolls-Royce Deutschland, holding diverse roles with significant responsibilities across engine testing, project management, product development, digitalization, and business development. Among his notable achievements, he led Rolls-Royce’s efforts in the introduction of the V2500Select engine, powering the Airbus A320 family.
From 2009 to 2019, he served as Head of Engineering Improvement and Quality, managing and coordinating key digitalization and Industry 4.0 projects.
Heiko Witte has extensive expertise in transforming ongoing and future product development initiatives and crafting digital innovation strategies, making him a distinguished leader in the aerospace and innovation sectors.
