About me

Dr. Tariqul Islam, currently working as an R&D project manager, holds PhD in Computer Vision fromthe University of Rostock, Germany. He is leading and managing the computer vision and AI team in his current position, working on NeRF, 3D Gaussian Splatting for 3D modeling, and AutoEncoder NN models for image anomaly detection applicable to various production sectors. His work includes City-scale Digital Twin development, Smart City, and 3D reconstruction among others. He also conceptualizes and writes EU and DFG research grant proposals, collaborates with partners and manages EU Horizon research and innovation projects.

Dr. Islam coordinates cross-disciplinary teams, handles project schedules, defines standardized reports and KPIs, and communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring successful project delivery and reporting. His expertise spans Computer Vision, Machine Learning, RGB-D Sensors, and Industry 4.0, demonstrating a strong track record in innovation and technical leadership.
