IBA's Discovery Lab is where innovation takes center stage. Building on IBA’s unparalleled expertise and cutting-edge particle accelerator technologies, it is dedicated to exploring new frontiers and unlocking the full potential of science and technology. A key focus of our work is the treatment of PFAS, persistent pollutants that are extremely difficult to eliminate. By leveraging our expertise in high-energy electron beam irradiation, we are developing innovative solutions to break down PFAS efficiently in water and solid matrices (such as activated carbon). Building on this expertise, we aim to expand our efforts to address other persistent pollutants, such as dioxins, CO2, microplastics, and emerging contaminants. Our goal is to provide scalable, sustainable solutions that contribute to a cleaner environment.
