About me
I am the Executive Director of YGT Ventures and Investments, with over 19 years of experience in materials science and nanotechnology. My scientific background is robust, specializing in nanomaterials—particularly graphene—with significant advances in polymer chemistry, surface modification, and functional composite development.
As Co-founder of Graphene Company and 2DM, I have led pioneering research on high-performance graphene, applying its properties in fields such as batteries, supercapacitors, and nano-coatings. Additionally, I served as an expert on the ISO TC229 Nanotechnology Committee, contributing to the development of international standards for the safe and innovative use of nanomaterials.
My academic experience includes roles as Professor and Senior Researcher at the National University of Singapore and UFRGS, where I supervised Ph.D. students and transformed scientific discoveries into market-ready technological solutions. With a record of scientific publications and patents, I remain committed to pushing the boundaries of materials science and nanotechnology through applied research and innovation.
