Joint project for development and manufacturing of loudspeaker solutions

Even though SONOMAG has a good Technology Readiness Level, and the designs, materials and processes used are each alredy tested and proven, there remain application-specific engineering challenges for bringing the technology to production readiness.

This joint (and possibly funded) project will address these challenges by:

• Identifying and specifying the most promising applications and their requirements

• Designing and optimizing the parts and processes as required

• Building prototype tools, parts, and assemblies

• Preparing mass production processes for quality and efficiency

SONOMAG and its technology network cover the following areas of expertise:

• Acoustics and loudspeaker design

• Magnetics and materials

• Advanced virtual acoustics applications

• Automotive and Consumer Electronics industry expertise

Partners from these areas, but also from the following fields are very welcome:

• Major suppliers of injection-moulded parts (interiors, housings etc.)

• OEMs and other product developing players seeking improved acoustics solutions

• Investors with a technical background, who are interested in making SONOMAG an industry-wide success story
