Next-generation Flat Loudspeaker Technology will be part of every other car and TV set

SONOMAG is an innovative flat loudspeaker technology (further information: Innovative Flat Loudspeaker solutions).

The designs, materials and processes used in the SONOMAG concept are each tested and proven. However, before series development and production at Tier1 suppliers and OEMs can commence, application-specific predevelopment steps are required.

The significant potential of the SONOMAG technology comes from the utilisation of mass-production processes such as 2K injection moulding and photolithography. However, R&D of such processes is rather costly, large toolings and automations have to be developed and manufactured. National and EU-level funding programs are available to cover a part of these investments.

Especially in the currently tough economic situation of the Automotive industry, it is challenging to find sources for the remaining funding among automotive Tier1s or OEMs. At the same time, the demand for ever improved infotainment solutions, which also help achieve sustainability goals and requirements, is verifyable and substantial, also in Consumer Electronics. We are happy to present detailed insights into the market development and SONOMAG's potential.
