About me
Tom van Dam (1993) is project manager of the Connekt Smart Mobility program, focusing on Connected Cooperative Automated Mobility (CCAM). It refers to the integration of connectivity, cooperation, and automation in mobility systems to improve road safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
Within Connekt's Smart Mobility program, Tom develops activities around CCAM, with an emphasis on the optimal use of road, traffic, and vehicle data, road safety, and sustainability. He collaborates with stakeholders to advance the deployment of connected and automated mobility solutions, addressing challenges such as digital infrastructure, governance frameworks, and interoperability. Additionally, Tom coordinates knowledge exchange within Connekt’s network of over 110 organizations, fostering connections between professionals on key mobility topics. In his team, Tom drives innovation in the mobility sector, aligning with Connekt’s core value: working together on innovation and sustainable accessibility.
Tom holds a Bachelor's degree in Built Environment from the University of Applied Sciences in Rotterdam, specializing in Urbanism.
My organisation
Connekt is the independent networkorganization in mobility and logistics in the Netherlands. Together with more than 110 members we aim to improve mobility and logistics through collaboration and implementing new technology in these existing domains.
