LiveLink Aerospace is a UK company specialising in hardware and software development creating highly advanced and adaptable sensors enabling full airspace awareness. Trusted by The Royal Navy to protect their fleet of battleships, the LiveLink 'Airspace Intelligence System' (AIS) is low-cost and lightweight with a small form factor and low backhaul requirements. Sensing in RF, optical and acoustic domains, the system is capable of delivering an accurate, and timely airspace picture which includes cooperative, and uncooperative aircraft. The small footprint of the technology, and the low cost compared to traditional airspace surveillance equipment, enables the onshore and offshore wind industry to install a small sensor node on each turbine to provide airspace security stakeholders an uncluttered, timely, and accurate view of all air users over and around wind farms.
