About me

A specialist professional within international donor funding and has overseen a global network of offices to deliver over 500 assurance assignments for clients including major international donors such as the European Commission (specifically DG ECHO, DG INTPA and DG NEAR), United Nations agencies including UNOPS, UNICEF, UNDP, and UNFPA, the Global Fund and Government agencies including FCDO and GiZ and several international charities.

I have specific experience in auditing Research, Technological Development and Innovation grants through Innovate UK and the European Commission’s FP6 and FP7 frameworks.

 After initially qualifying as an auditor specialising in the nonprofit sector, he has held financial management roles in leading international NGOs including as the finance and contract lead for a consortium delivering a multi-million-pound FCDO contract and in a business partner capacity advising fundraising and programme teams.

I am a Fellow of the ICAEW and is recognised for his technical expertise and has significant hands-on experience of managing and leading grant audits in the field. Furthermore I am a certified fraud examiner and have undertaken a number of international assignments.
