Fabio Natali

I am a London-based software architect, information-security consultant, and entrepreneur with 20+ years of experience. My interests lie at the intersection of technology, ethics, and politics.

I am the founder and director of Reckon Digital, a software company that creates solutions and provides consultancy in the areas of Digital Innovation, Artificial Intelligence, and Information Security. As a consultant, I have worked with and provided support to organisations of all sizes, from small teams of journalists and university researchers to NGOs, international organisations, and multinational companies.

I am a regular speaker at conferences, in the UK and abroad, on Cyber Security and Software Engineering. I have been a university lecturer in Cyber Security at the University of Turin, Italy; Data Science and Software Engineering at the École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris (ESCP), United Kingdom; Computational Mathematics at the University of Pisa, Italy.

I am a long-time Open Source expert and I am an active contributor to various Free Software projects. I am a prolific organiser of technology and security related events, in the UK and abroad.

I have a BSc in Mathematics and an MA in Digital Culture.
