Hello, I'm Brendan, the Regional Manager for Humanihut UK. We provide modular, deployable housing, centres and classroom solutions to support displaced people.
My organisation
Humanihut designs, manufactures, and retails the Humanihut Field Infrastructure System (HFIS), a rapidly re-deployable, temporary infrastructure solution. Innovative in design and engineering, the unique HFIS system allows eight Huts to pack into a shipping container for efficient transportation and storage. With all components, accessories, and necessary utilities integrated for rapid deployment and ease of establishment, the HFIS can operate independently without access to mains water, power, and wastewater infrastructure, or it can easily connect to main services. With a 20+ year lifespan, the HFIS is eight times more logistically efficient than other temporary buildings, delivers measurable improvement over tents, and is easily re-deployed as many times as necessary. Each deployment aims to have a minimal environmental impact, with all essential services designed for above ground installation.
Alongside our temporary accommodation, we also offer solutions for adaptable, re-deployable facilities such as classrooms, space for medical centres, treatment rooms and offices.
Our aim is support to United Nations organisations in enhancing the quality of life for those affected by conflict and natural disasters. Our commitment to sustainability and community engagement ensures that we not only address immediate needs, but also contribute to long-term resilience and recovery.
About me
I am an accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience in retail management, excelling in diverse roles centred around customer service, sales strategy development and change management. My expertise has been pivotal in building successful businesses across the UK. I have a proven track record of leading teams, implementing training programs that enhance productivity and morale. Launching promotional campaigns that greatly enhance customer traffic and drive growth in comparable sales has been some of my key personal achievements.
Transitioning into Logistics Management, I have successfully overseen supply chain organisations, reducing costs through the adoption of efficient and lean controls. I've also led cultural change in underperforming areas, using personal experience to motivate, develop, and performance-manage colleagues, thereby inspiring operational excellence across multi-site teams.
I have managed and operated in various designated territories, including Wales, the West Country, and from Dorset to Berkshire and Oxford to Guildford. Outside of work, I am a lifelong supporter of the West Country’s favourite football team, Bristol Rovers, celebrating every victory and commiserating every near miss with the passion of a true supporter. I also like to keep fit and am trained to Personal Trainer (PT) Level 2
