Creative Accelerator Zrt. commenced the implementation of the project titled "Specialized Life Science-Focused Incubation Program," identified by project number 2023-1.1.3-STARTUP-2023-00016, on January 1, 2024. As the beneficiary incubator of the project number 2023-1.1.3-STARTUP-2023-00016, Creative Accelerator Ltd., supported by the National Research, Development, and Innovation Office, provides funding of HUF 824,000,000 and invests an additional HUF 246,228,000 of private capital into startup companies. The objective of the project is to initiate the incubation of new viable startup projects based on the existing R&D institutional knowledge base. The program aims to select businesses with the most promising project ideas, helping them overcome early-stage difficulties and enhancing their opportunities for entry and sustainability in international markets. With its center located in the Southern Great Plain region of Hungary, the program implements a specialized life science-focused acquisition, investment, and incubation project from January 1, 2024, to June 30, 2027. Throughout the new 42-month incubation program, the incubator will organize a total of 12 knowledge-sharing events and 4 pitch competitions. The ultimate goal of the project is to enter into incubation and capital investment agreements with 8 companies, resulting in the collaborative development of 8 new tested prototypes or MVPs. In recent years, the Covid-19 pandemic and raw material supply issues caused by global conflicts have significantly impacted venture capital markets, including startups. Therefore, Creative Accelerator Zrt. is committed to supporting startups aiming to enter international markets.
