The Hiring Conference is a focused, interview-driven event that connects transitioning service members and veterans with top employers actively seeking to hire military talent. Unlike traditional job fairs, this conference is built around pre-scheduled interviews between qualified candidates and companies with real hiring needs. Both job seekers and employers benefit from a streamlined, high-impact experience designed to match military skill sets with career opportunities in industries such as construction, datacenter, defense, energy, logistics, manufacturing, medical, power generation, semiconductor, and more. Whether you’re exploring your next mission or building a high-performing team, this event is your gateway to success.

About the Event:

Interview Location – Embassy Suites: We utilize Embassy Suites as our conference venue because each room is a two-room suite, designed to support a professional and private interview environment. Each suite includes a separate front room that functions as an office-style space, ideal for conducting interviews. A door separates this area from the bedroom, ensuring privacy and minimizing distractions. This setup provides a comfortable and efficient setting for engaging interviews.

Company Presentation: As part of the hiring conference agenda, each company will have a 20-minute time slot to present to job seekers. This is a valuable opportunity for company representatives to showcase their organization, culture, career opportunities, and what makes them an employer of choice for transitioning military and veteran talent. Items that will be discussed:

• Company overview

• Types of roles available

• Career paths and advancement opportunities

• What a day in the life looks like for veterans in their company

• Why veterans thrive in their organization

This presentation helps set the tone for your interviews. It allows Job Seekers to align their background with company needs, generates stronger interest, and results in more productive interviews with better-informed candidates.

Networking Reception: Following the presentations, we’ll host an informal networking reception where all participating company representatives and job seekers can connect in a relaxed setting. This portion of the event:

• Provides ability for Company Representives and Job Seekers to engage with each other

• Answer post-presentation questions in a casual environment

• Build rapport and reinforces company brand's

• Observe interpersonal skills in a social setting
