Break the Ice Even Before Meetings!

We all know how bustling matchmaking events can be – meeting numerous people, connecting with them, and hopping from one meeting to the next. This fast-paced environment can often leave event attendees overwhelmed, causing them to come unprepared to meetings.

To ensure participants get the most out of their meetings, we are excited to introduce a new feature that helps them dive right into the topic even before the meeting: the meeting description.

More Context for Meetings

Now, when requesting meetings, participants can provide a short description of the meeting to give more information about what they wish to discuss with their potential meeting partner. This added context helps the recipient understand the purpose of the meeting before accepting or rejecting it.

How did it work before?

While participants were able to send a message along with their meeting request, user feedback highlighted that it is more intuitive to add a simple meeting description, instead of having to navigate to Messages each time a participant receives a meeting request to check what the meeting topic would be and decide whether to accept it or not.

This feedback is what inspired us to drive forward the user experience of our platform. Now, the meeting description is displayed directly on the meeting card on the Meetings page. This update means participants have all the information in one place, making decision-making easier and more efficient.

Both participants can see the meeting description: the sender of the meeting request and the receiver of the request.

Start the Conversation Before Meeting

Additionally, to foster collaboration and engagement, participants can send the meeting description as a message simply by ticking a checkbox in the request meeting modal. This will allow conversations to start even before the meeting takes place, setting the stage for a more productive and engaging interaction.

This improvement will significantly enhance the overall matchmaking and user experience, ensuring participants:
