Decide who attends your sessions with session signup approval.

Our latest update, the Session signup approval feature, gives you control over who gets to attend specific sessions. This means participants can sign up or apply for a session, but their attendance will only be confirmed after your manual approval.

This feature is perfect for sessions with limited capacity or those requiring a vetting process. It gives you full control over the attendee lists allowing you to create exclusive experiences and ensure your sessions cater to the right audience, adding value to everyone involved.

How to set it up?

Setting up this feature is quick and easy! Just head over to Session’s Settings and tick the Require Approval box. Now, the participants will need to be approved to attend the session.

You can manage your attendee requests in the Attendees tab, where you’ll find approved, rejected, and pending requests.

Keep in mind that this feature is available for the Professional license and above. If you're unsure whether you can enable it or need help setting it up for your event, contact our support team.

Customize your sign-up periods for seamless planning.

We’ve also added a little something to help you ease your planning! The new Sign-up period setting lets you set up a time frame when participants can apply for sessions. You can choose from two options:

• Open Sign-up period: Participants can register anytime before the session begins.
• Custom period: Set precise start and end dates and times, ensuring you finalize attendee lists well in advance.

This level of customization helps you plan effectively, ensuring your venue has the capacity and resources to deliver a top-notch experience. And if your venue has physical limitations, don’t forget that you can also set a maximum number of attendees for your session.
