For the third year in a row, the German Energy Association (dena) put their trust in our powerful event networking software and advanced matchmaking features to seamlessly connect participants with the right people and facilitate meaningful conversations. Among dena's many projects, the Startup Energy Transition (SET) Tech Festival stands out as a dynamic hub for collaboration and innovation, bringing together innovators, startups, and industry leaders from around the globe.
Held annually, the 2024 SET Tech Festival was packed with sessions, meeting slots, fireside chats, panels, keynotes, and workshops. Thanks to dedicated networking blocks, participants were able to engage in meaningful meetings, while SET award finalists presented their innovative ideas during live pitch sessions on the main stage. Honoring the finalists for their groundbreaking work, the SET Award ceremony and evening reception brought the event to a close.
However, organizing such a significant event comes with its challenges. The main challenge for the organizers was facilitating effective networking and giving attendees the freedom and flexibility to schedule meetings with the right people at convenient times.
This is where the b2match’s expertise, intuitive design and comprehensive features made a substantial impact. The user-friendly interface led to high engagement and satisfaction, with 98% of the 370 participants from 35 countries actively engaging in matchmaking.
The b2match event networking platform facilitated 475 meetings, showcasing its effectiveness in creating valuable connections. Participants appreciated the structured networking opportunities, offering many touchpoints for attendees to connect, which empowered them to make the most of their event experience. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with attendees highly satisfied with the ease and efficiency of the matchmaking process.
One of the standout features of b2match, which proved invaluable for event organizers, was the email tool, which allowed dena to import email lists and send automatic updates to attendees. This streamlined communication ensured participants were well-informed and engaged throughout the event.
The b2match support team played a crucial role in leading the event organizers to matchmaking success by providing exceptional assistance throughout the event planning and execution process. Their on-site presence ensured a seamless experience for both organizers and participants, addressing any questions and guaranteeing that, as has become tradition for SET, matchmaking on the ship sailed smoothly.
“There may be several competitors out there, but b2match gives you so many options to create successful matches via the platform. And the support team is always really helpful and fast.”
With b2match, dena has built on the successes of the SET Tech Festival again this year, fostering key connections and advancing their mission for an energy transition toward a bright, climate-friendly future for all. This partnership highlights the transformative power of effective networking in achieving ambitious climate goals.
