Project Idea Checks
The term "Project Idea Check" or "Pre-Proposal Check" refers to the thorough checking of proposal outlines by National Contact Points (NCPs). This happens at the very start when you are still developing your idea, during the phase before your proposal takes a proper shape.
Your NCP helps you to identify suitable call topics and to assess whether or not to proceed with finalizing a consortium and preparing a complete proposal for Horizon Europe.
How can I book this service?
You can contact your local NCP at any time to ask for a project idea check! You do not know who your NCP is? No problem! You can find the contact details of your digital NCP here. Just e-mail them and ask for a project idea check. You can also use this platform to book meetings with registered NCPs.
Please find below the template for the project idea check. You should send this to your digital NCP before your meeting with them so that they have some time to understand your idea and prepare for the meeting.
