Renewable Energy from small water channels
About
We've developed a range of compact, simple turbines that generate clean predictable energy from free-flowing water, such as rivers, canals and estuaries. Based on the patented flow acceleration and blade pitching technology developed for our larger device CEFA12, the CEFA1 and CEFA 6 area scaled down versions suitable for smaller channels. CEFA1 could be used for applications ranging from individual domestic rural electrification or in arrays to service a number of properties while the CEFA6 could be installed in industrial outflows in thermal power plants to water treatment facilities.
Still in the development phase, we are actively looking for collaborative partners and suitable commercial pilot projects to demonstrate this application of our unique technology so if you have a potential site in mind please get in touch.
