I have worked on biomass(pelletting, briquetting, torrefication etc...) of agricultural wastes and residues. My main interest area is on greenhouses. I focus on semi-closed greenhouse technology, which i believe the only technology to cope with adverse affects of climate change. So, a system must be developed in a modular way that could be assembled and adopted to present traditional greenhouses to control climate better and for higher and better quality yield. Also, Co2 extraction and reuse in greenhouses is vital for the net zero targets of the EU. Further, indoor or vertical farming is also of vital importance for food security and sustainability. I am interested in all these areas. I am also very much interested in geothermal energy use in greenhouses as i installed many greenhouses heated by this energy source.
