Dr. Nafiseh Nafissi is a visionary entrepreneur, scientist, and expert in biomanufacturing and gene therapy, with a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences and extensive experience in business development and commercialization. She has dedicated her career to bridging the gap between cutting-edge scientific innovation and successful commercialization in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries.

As the Chief Technology Officer and Scientific Founder of Mediphage Bioceuticals, Dr. Nafissi led the development and commercialization of the Ministring DNA (msDNA™) platform, securing $10 million in funding and successfully managing over 25 strategic partnerships with leading pharmaceutical companies. Her leadership has played a crucial role in advancing non-viral gene delivery technologies, positioning Mediphage at the forefront of genomic medicine.

Recognizing the critical bottlenecks in biomanufacturing efficiency and resource optimization, Dr. Nafissi founded Enzumatic Minds, a company leveraging AI and ML-driven software alongside human expertise to enhance precision, scalability, and sustainability in biotech and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Through Enzumatic Minds, she aims to revolutionize manufacturing processes, ensuring greater efficiency, reduced costs, and smarter resource allocation.

Dr. Nafissi is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Waterloo, one of Canada's top engineering institutions, where she contributes to research and education in biomanufacturing and translational science. She is a thought leader in biotechnology innovation, frequently presenting at international conferences and driving discussions on research commercialization, regulatory strategy, and the future of gene therapy.
