About me

Heleen De Wever obtained a PhD in Applied Biological Sciences in 1995 from the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium. She joined VITO, the Flemish Institute for Technological Research, as a project manager in 2001. Since 2024, she is managing VITO’s bioprocesses and biomass processing team.
