About
I’m Mendernesh Negash, a Biotechnologist with a BSc in Biotechnology from VIT, India, and an MSc in Environmental Biotechnology from Debre Markos University, Ethiopia. My academic journey has been complemented by practical experience in agricultural pest management, specifically focusing on the use of botanical extracts as a sustainable alternative to chemical pesticides. I have conducted extensive research on the pesticidal properties of plants like M. azedarach and U. simensis in tomato cultivation, bridging traditional knowledge with scientific methods to develop eco-friendly solutions.
I am passionate about addressing environmental challenges through biotechnology and environmental sciences. My expertise spans molecular biology, microbiology, plant science, and environmental sustainability. I am now seeking a professional opportunity where I can leverage my skills to contribute to innovative solutions in agricultural biotechnology, pest management, and environmental sustainability.
I am eager to collaborate with like-minded professionals and organizations that value sustainable practices and cutting-edge research in biotechnology. My goal is to make a significant impact in improving agricultural productivity while protecting the environment
