I am an associate professor at Hawassa University specializing in climate change, focusing on water, food security, and adaptation strategies.
I am an associate professor of environmental science with expertise in climate change at Hawassa University, Ethiopia. I hold a PhD in Environmental Sciences from Wageningen University, Netherlands. Beyond teaching and community service, I am actively engaged in research, having published over 30 scientific articles on how regional climate changes impact water resources and food production, utilizing various models. My work focuses on testing adaptation strategies to improve community resilience, food security, and resource management. I am eager to collaborate on a proposal for the LEAWEF call.
My organisation
Hawassa University (HU) is one of well-established public universities in Ethiopia engaged in teaching, research and community services in the last 44 years.
