At It's Alive, we operate Greece's only Fresh Spirulina Biotechnology Lab, specializing in urban agriculture within closed photobioreactors. This advanced approach allows us to cultivate fresh spirulina in a controlled environment, ensuring the highest quality and purity.
In addition to our fresh spirulina, we have pioneered a novel method for extracting analytical grade, fresh C-phycocyanin. This potent compound is essential in tumor fluorescence microscopy and is increasingly used in innovative cancer treatments such as photodynamic therapy (PDT) and photothermal therapy (PTT). Our lab is equipped to supply fresh, active C-phycocyanin, perfectly suited for cutting-edge research in these areas.
Driven by a passion for sustainable solutions and technological innovation, I've been immersed in the realm of photobioreactor design since December 2018. My journey has culminated in the development of a system that is not only capital-efficient – being dozens of times less capital-intensive than prevailing industrial standards – but also superior in product quality. Proudly, our spirulina output boasts a richer concentration of vitamins and minerals compared to many other fresh spirulina products available.
At "It's Alive", we've marked our milestone by establishing our inaugural base, complete with multiple state-of-the-art photobioreactors. Our vision is clear, and our commitment unwavering: to lead and redefine sustainable spirulina production for the betterment of our community.
At It's Alive, we are proud to be Greece's only fresh spirulina producer. Beyond our high-quality spirulina, we have developed an innovative method to extract analytical grade, fresh C-phycocyanin.
C-phycocyanin is a powerful compound with proven applications in tumor fluorescence microscopy. Additionally, it plays a crucial role in emerging cancer treatments such as photodynamic therapy (PDT) and photothermal therapy (PTT). We are now able to supply fresh, active C-phycocyanin in analytical grade, specifically tailored for cutting-edge research in these fields.
