i have over two decades of experience as Chief Technology Officer for some of the world-renowned brands, such as Walmart in the US, YOOX NET-A-PORTER in Italy, Emirates Group in Dubai, and Adevinta in Spain (owner of several European marketplaces including Subito), pioneering AI-enabled technology innovation.
Having led seven digital transformations across 3 continents, I saw first-hand that, top-performing talent can achieve outcomes 10 times better than average performers, not just because of domain skills, but because of soft skills and personality such as attitude, empathy, dedication, leadership, problem solving and communication skills.
Motivated to transform the outdated practices and rectify biases in the talent assessment and hiring models, I embarked on a mission to level the playing field for both candidates and companies to disrupt the traditional talent assessment and hiring norms, ensuring equal opportunities for top talent, irrespective of their backgrounds.
I left my ‘C’ level corporate role at the start of 2023, and in summer 2023, set up an innovative start-up in Italy, called XOOTS to pursue my vision.
XOOTS’s mission to transform talent assessment and recruitment, and to empower every business to assess existing employees, hire quality talent swiftly, and upskill talent using generative AI, accelerating their digital transformation goals.
