Rovalma SA own several patents in advanced materials and the inventor of a new disruptive metal additive manufacturing called ROVALMA MAM. With this methods, any kind of metal alloy can be printed as a cost level, comparable to that of conventional machining. The methods is presently used to make die inserts for die casting and hot stamping of light alloys. The method is particularly interesting to print light alloys with reduced weight. We would like to extend the applicability of this new MAM to make the light battery components and make this components functional according to the battery requirements, e.g. highly cooling efficient battery housing, multimaterial components, .etc.
