Nathalie Vallee

Dr Nathalie VALLEE (F) is a Head of Partnerships and Public Funding at Strane Innovation specialized in sustainable agriculture, sustainable processes of plant waste and reuse of biomaterials, biofuels, biocontrol, biodiversity, water, wastewater reuse, molecular biology as well as business and risk assessment. She holds a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology from the Institut National Polytechnique in Toulouse, France. She did at post-doc in Korea at Kumho Petrochemical Company - Kumho Life and Environmental Science Laboratory and in the US for 5 years. Back in France, she worked in a pharmaceutial company (Negma Lerads) for 4 years and in the largest French agricultural cooperative union (InVivo) for 9 years where she was coordinating several projects with the different research and technical teams related to sustainable agriculture e.g. agricultural by-products and methanisation, the circular economy of farms wastes, antibio-resistance, and risk associated in animal nutrition and health, biocontrol, and the alternative of pesticide use. She has also developed partnerships between InVivo and research centers by developing scientific projects (H2020, CASDAR, ADEME) and initiated several industrial theses with French and international Universities (Brazil, Mexico, Vietnam, Portugal, Ireland).  She is now working att Strane Innovation for the last 7 years, where she is responsible of Strane’s EU project Division to develop partnerships in national and international projects including H2020, Marie Curie and ERAMUS+ related to many topics (nanotechs, biotechs, sustainable industry, Energy, Climate, Agriculture, Transport, Health, ICT…). She is the lead author of several scientific papers. Nathalie is fluent in English and French.
