MBSE 2025

The ESA Education Office is pleased to support up to four tertiary education students to attend MBSE 2025 as part of the ESA Academy Conference Student Support programme. This support will cover up to EUR 540 in travel and accommodation costs, reimbursed via a single bank transfer after the event upon submission of receipts. The workshop / conference has no registration fees.

To be eligible for ESA Academy Conference Student Support, students must meet the following criteria at the time of application:

1.  Individually present a poster at the conference. Please submit your poster through the official call for poster, and mark it as a "student contribution". The poster and this scholarship application must both be submitted before the announced deadlines, we will not allow any exceptions, submissions sent by e-mail will not be considered! Relevant links are available at to bottom of this page.

2. In addition to the poster, please submit one of the following:

   • (a) A short video (max. 3 minutes / 250 MB in HD 1080p quality)

     OR

   • (b) A written motivation (max. 1 page A4)

   Pitch yourself! We'd like to hear:
   o Who are you, and what sparked your interest in MBSE?
   o What excites you most about using MBSE in the space sector?
   o What do you think is one of the biggest opportunities and/or challenges for MBSE?
   o How would you like to contribute to its future?
   o Anything you like to share with us on top of this?

   Creativity and clarity are more important than video production quality. Recording on a phone or laptop is perfectly fine. For the written motivation, address the same questions as above in essay form. We encourage original, personal input, please no AI-generated content and show us your own voice!

3. be minimum 18 years old at the time of the conference;

4. be a citizen of an ESA Member State, Associate Member State, or Canada;

5. be enrolled as a student (BSc, MSc, or Ph.D.) in a tertiary education academic program (not graduating before the conference);

6. not benefit from an overlapping financial support to attend this conference, unless duly justified;

7. agree with the conditions of the ESA Academy’s Privacy Policy

HOW TO ENROLL

• SUBMISSION DEADLINE is 30 September 2025 (for both poster and your motivation letter or video)

• DECISIONS will be announced on 6 October 2025

• CAMERA READY versions of your poster must be provided by 10 October 2025
