Giorgio Vergona

Giorgio Vergona (born 1965 in Naples), is the CEO of the company EUVITIS 21 ATS Srl, which in 2018 acquired the historic Samnite brand, Ocone Vini, together with its production site,  with the aim of restoring prestige to one of the oldest wineries in the area, via the combination of  personal and family contributions, to realise the full potential of the winery in terms of evolution and modernity.

Giorgio began his career as a sales agent in the wine sector alongside his father in the family-run agency. The excellent results achieved, since the early years, permitted the agency to expand its client pool with the addition of  mandates from some of the most important companies of the time such as the Coltiva Group, Cantine Riunite and Gruppo Italiano Vini.

The collaboration with these industrial and cooperative groups and growing operational responsibilities, permitted Giorgio to acquire significant professional experiences that characterize his current and prestigious professional profile.

In 2012, Giorgio participated as a consultant in the foundation of Interprocom Ltd, a company specialising in the importing of quality Italian wines in China. His work in selecting  wineries and products to export, led Interprocom Ltd to become one of the largest and most prestigious export companies of Italian wine in the Chinese market.

In 2018, having successfully completed his consultancy with Interprocom Ltd, he founded, together with his family, Euvitis 21 Agricoltura Territorio e Sviluppo S.r.l., thus fulfilling his dream to become the owner of his very own winery, combining commercial commitments with new productive and entrepreneurial commitments, creating a single group in which the real estate company LA CORALLO Srl, founded in 2008, also operates in synergy and of which Giorgio is the sole director. The group’s aim is to create and manage real estate structures also intended for food and wine tourism.
