A family business across the centuries: Terre di Grifonetto, was founded in 2011 at Montemelino in Magione (Perugia), on the umbrian hills overlooking Lake Trasimeno. Represented by Angelica Pistelli and her mother Francesca R. Cassano, the company offers a line of products (extra virgin olive oils, flavoured oils, chocolates, panettone) that consolidates under its brand all the cumulative knowhow and traditions involving a family that has always lived in close contact with this territory and has maintained its commitment to excellence and simplicity in the fruits of that land. The land where the Terre di Grifonetto company is actually established belongs to the same family since the second half of the 16th century. The close link between the history of this family and the land where the olive trees are being cultivated truly explains the name of the brand, which comes from Grifonetto Baglioni, a charming protagonist of the glorious Reinassance history of Perugia. The choice of the name was made in order to anchor a new company to its ancient past and its agricultural tradition. • A small company with a wide distribution net: Terre di Grifonetto is mainly oriented to export its products outside the italian market, where the "Made in Italy" and the "know how" characteristic of our native land are mostly appreciated. • Very high quality products with an Italian Style packaging: Producing a high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil requires a great passion, an absolute dedication and a constant attention, addressed to each individual production step and the Terre di Grifonetto’s extra virgin olive oil can proudly present itself as one of the extra virgin with the highest quality standards within the whole Italian market.
