Finca San Blas Dulce 2019- An exquisite noble rot wine made in Valencia
About
"Wine born from a chance encounter between the land, the vineyard and the winegrower."
Harvest in mid-November. Harvesting in boxes of bunches with at least 50% of the berries botrytised.
Pneumatic pressing with a maximum of 2 kg for at least 10 hours. Static cold racking. Spontaneous fermentation in 225 litre oak barrels for more than a year.
Ageing in the same barrels for a minimum of 18 to 24 months. Not clarified or stabilised. Lightly filtered before bottling.
Acquired alcoholic strength = 11 %.
This vintage has just received Great Gold in VinEspaña 2024. The 2013 vintage received Platinum Best in Show in Decanter World Wine Awards 2016.
