Joanna Szyda

I am a group leader that specialises in the application of statistical genetics and bioinformatics tools for the analysis of various structures of biological data, with an emphasis on genomic data. Currently, in order to enhance our field of expertise, we want to develop into analysing neurological data, so far covering the association between early and late life stress and methylome and MRI scan data. Although we are by far not experts in the field yet, we have applied a few non-standard approaches to the statistical modelling of such data. If this is of interest, we are open to a collaboration. The group is a Leading Research Group at the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences.
