Prof. Dr. Christoph Wildfeuer obtained his doctorate in quantum technologies from the University of Siegen in 2003, after studying physics in Bonn and Siegen. His postdoctoral work in the USA involved research at esteemed institutes, focusing on quantum sensors and cryptography. Joining the FHNW School of Engineering in Brugg-Windisch in 2015, he has since been dedicated to educating future engineers and was appointed Professor for Sensor Technology in 2019. Currently, Prof. Wildfeuer leads innovative R&D projects in quantum information and post-quantum cryptography, which include the application of the Kyber post-quantum algorithm on embedded systems, the enhancement of wireless technology security, and the development of secure satellite communications protocols. His scholarly work, as both an author and co-author, has contributed to the academic discourse in the field.
