My organisation
Reagenics has pioneered a dual platform for rapid and efficient production of plant stem cells in low cost bioreactors in order to obtain vital plant metabolites. We have succeeded producing potato biomass with over 34% proteins. This plant proteins are non-allergic, non-GMO, minimum waste, not dependent upon climate and seasons, continual harvesting. They are considered to be the best plant proteins equivalent to eggs. We have succeeded in producing saffron biomass with high levels of the three major metabolites with markets in food, beverages, health and pharma. We have also succeeded in producing anthocyanins and resveratrol from grapes. Both have important anti-inflam-aging properties. In the pipeline are important products for TCM use such as Panax. We are looking for a partner to build production capacity in Singapore or elsewhere in the Far East to supply markets there. We already have an LOI from a leading Indian plant protein company.
About me
Founder and Chairman: Dr. Michael Kagan brings over three decades of entrepreneurial experience in technology and biology ventures and sustainable energy to Reagenics. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and completed two post-doctorates. Dr. Kagan co-founded Profile Technologies Ventures Ltd., a pioneering private incubator in Israel. He has been instrumental in launching several startups, including NomadIQ, Timestrip, LUZ II, and Qualitas Health, many based on his ideas and inventions. He has 15 years of photobioreactors expertise, has overseen clinical trials, and secured FDA approvals for various innovations. Dr. Kagan holds multiple patents, some of which have been acquired by major European corporations. As the founder and chairman of Reagenics, Dr. Kagan steers the company's strategic direction and spearheads technological innovation and development initiatives. His visionary leadership ensures Reagenics remains at the forefront of sustainable food production technology.
