Ruben Specogna is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Udine (Italy), where he leads the EMCLab, focused on electromagnetic compatibility, advanced simulation, and applied electromagnetics. He holds a Ph.D. in Computational Electromagnetics and a degree in Electronic Engineering.
He is the founder of EMC Gems Srl, a deep-tech startup developing disruptive simulation technologies and AI-powered design platforms for smart sensors and power electronics. His work merges academic excellence and industrial innovation, with applications showcased at global events like CES Las Vegas and SPS Italia.
Author of over 130 scientific papers and 10 patents—some in collaboration with Google LLC, Renesas Electronics, and the CRO National Cancer Institute—he is also Associate Editor for Sensors, e-Prime, and International Journal of Applied Electromagnetics and Mechanics. He serves on the editorial boards of COMPUMAG and IEEE CEFC conferences.
