Aysegul Ucar

Aysegul Ucar is Head of Defense Technologies, at the same time, she is Professor of Robotics,

Artificial Intelligence and Vision in Mechatronics Engineering Department at Firat University in

Elazig, Turkey. She leads the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at the same

university.

She is also a vice chair of the Computer Science Research Center between 2019-2021. She has

more than 22 years background in artificial intelligence, its engineering applications, teaching, and

research.

Ucar is active in several professional bodies, in particular she is a senior member of the Institute of

Electrical and Electronic Engineers, an editor of IEEE Access and Turkish Journal Electrical

Engineering and Computer Sciences and a member of European Artificial Intelligence Alliance

Committee.
