Barolo DOCG Bricco Cogni

Our newest Barolo, first released in 2018. This particular plot was used to produce Barolo Leonardo until the 2017 vintage. When the vineyard got to a mature age we then tried to make it on its own. For us, not only age of vines is important when it comes to producing single vineyards Barolo, we also look at the position of the field. Again we find ouselves in the western side of the La Morra hill, 300 mt asl facing full west. Aged in french oak 2.500 lts barrel. Barolo Bricco Cogni is the step between Barolo Leonardo and Barolo San Giacomo. Fruity and floreal like the Barolos from the northern side we also find firm tannins balanced by a good acidity.
