Barolo DOCG Bussia

Out of the 5 different Barolo we produce the Bussia single vineyard is the most know due to the fame of the region. Our plots can be found on the same hill side of Aldo Conterno "Cicala"; the vines are 40 years of age so they're able to give us great fruit; south west exposition at 400mt asl. Slavonian oak, big barrels for 24 months. We have the typical texture of the region with firm, hig-end tannins sided by great aromatic, smoky and mineral flavours with strong hints of spices. We try to combine the masculinity of the southern part of the Barolo region with the elegance and fresh balance of the northern areas. Always with nice bright acidity that makes the wine very alive.
