Grand Vin 2019 Sot-Monopole
About
The Sot-Monopole Grand Cru vineyard is located in the Carpegna hillside, in an optimal position from Barolo but deliberately planted with Cabernet Sauvignon with screws from Pauillac en Medoc - Bordeaux, this vineyard was planted in only 1,300 vines in the far 1994 and sees his first harvest in 2015, after 21 years of waiting.
Vinified in French oak barrels with manual fulling for over 40 days of maceration, after fermentation rest for 18 to 36 months in new French wood barriques, then rest in the bottle for at least a year.
