HEKS/EPER Switzerland has been present in Romania since 1977 in support of the earthquake victims. The HEKS/EPER Romania Foundation was founded by HEKS/EPER Switzerland in 2016 to support people from Romania who need economic and social help. Our projects address marginalized and vulnerable groups in Romanian society. Since March 2022 our foundation supported Ukrainians across Romania and in Ukraine with housing, food, medical and psychological assistance as well as professional integration in the local labor market.
