Empowering Ukrainian Integration: HEKS/EPER's Comprehensive Career Support Initiative
Project manager "Increasing resilience of Ukrainian community in Cluj" at HEKS/EPER Foundation Romania
Cluj-Napoca, Romania
About
Two years ago Romanian society welcomed Ukrainians offering first job opportunities. Since then the community has improved in their endeavors and now we're looking at a more settled, educated community, starting to speak the language, aiming at job opportunities that can benefit from the Ukrainian expertise in terms of education and labor experience. HEKS/EPER Romania's next mission is to further empower Ukrainian professionals and build on transferable skills, bridge cultural differences and further leverage Ukrainian expertise. Through peer coaching, mentoring, and support for social economy initiatives that complement Romanian social services, we aim to enhance both the present host labor market and the future Ukrainian economy. Together, we're fostering collaboration and prosperity, creating a brighter future for all.
