The Clinical Validation Center for Digital Health (CVCSD) aims to generate clinical and scientific evidence on the impact of digital health as well as to technology transference of innovative health technologies between the industry and public entities in the health and social care sector. Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, a high-complexity hospital with more than 600 years of history, a current activity of 35.500 inpatients per year, 160.000 emergencies and more than 460.000 outpatient appointments, and Barcelona Health Hub, an innovation-oriented non-profit association with more than 500 associates including start-ups, industrial partners, universities and other organizations working in digital health, started in 2022 this joint initiative that aims to generate clinical evidence of digital health solutions, and to promote adoption and technology transference from the industry to healthcare.
