Bluefoundation was established in response to the growing need to identify effective solutions for reducing climate-changing emissions and achieving sustainable development goals in the industrial and energy sectors. Bluefoundation's core service is based on a structured approach to bridge the gap between having declared sustainability goals and actually achieving them, through the planning of appropriate technological and structural interventions. The transformation towards the "factory of the future" is planned thorugh a rigorous methodology on a case-by-case basis depending on the options available, aiming at the best combination of electrification, renewables, alternative fuels, process optimization, and CO2 capture and reuse. The working method includes scouting of innovative technologies, creation of digital twin models for simulation of the optimal sustainability scenarios (economic, technical and environmental) converging into an intervention roadmap flanked by business models and identification of technology partners needed for the implementation.
