In healthcare, effective patient communication is essential for improving outcomes and adherence to medical guidance. However, clinicians often struggle with limited time and resources to provide tailored materials that suit each patient's needs. This challenge seeks to develop a Generative AI-powered tool that enables healthcare professionals to effortlessly create personalized videos tailored to ech patient. These videos will be generated from prompts provided by the healthcare professional, and will support patients in understanding their conditions, preparing for procedures, and managing post-discharge care, ensuring more accessible and engaging healthcare communication.
The envisioned GenAI tool should allow clinicians to input free text or structured prompts, generating high-quality, patient-friendly videos in real-time. The solution should adapt to different literacy levels, languages, and cultural contexts, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility. Ideally, the tool would integrate with existing hospital systems, electronic health records, or patient portals to streamline workflow and reduce the burden on healthcare staff while enhancing patient engagement.
