Universidade Estadual de Campinas-UNICAMP

The Univesity of Campinas -Unicamp was officially founded on October 5, 1966, the day its foundation stone was laid. Even in a recent university context, in which the oldest Brazilian university is just over seven decades old, Unicamp can be considered a young institution that has already achieved a strong tradition in teaching, research and relations with society.

The UNICAMP School of Food Engineering was founded in 1967 as the School of Food Technology (FTA) and later became known as the School of Food Engineering - FEA. Conceived and founded by professor and agricultural engineer André Tosello, who graduated from USP, it has maintained growth since its inception based on solid research activity, training professionals, disseminating knowledge and integration with industry.
